Abstract
Purpose: In order to evaluate the usefulness of the VMI + (Virtual Monoenergetic Images Plus) reconstruction by comparing the LB(Linear Blended) images of DE-CTPA with enhanced pulmonary vessels.

Material and method: For 45 patients examined with CT Pulmonary angiography using DECT, LB images and images of VMI + 40(40keV), 50(50keV), 60(60keV), 70(70keV) were implemented and HU was used as data with the main pulmonary artery as ROI.

Result: The images of VMI + 40, 50, 60, 70 showed significantly higher HU at low energy levels, with 1241.66HU, 828.38HU, 575.61HU and 420.75HU, compared with 393.26HU in LB images. The VMI + technique reduces images noise(deviation) from low energy levels, reducing image quality degradation.

Conclusion: - In the LB images of DE-CTPA and images using VMI + techniques, the results were found to be useful in evaluating contrasted pulmonary blood vessels.I n addition, the use of VMI + techniques can help patients with neuropathic disorders with good images and accurate diagnosis by using a small amount of contrast medium.
